As some of you have guessed by now that The results of the Nominations are late... This is due to a personal decision by myself to quietly extend to await any late nominations...   This ploy worked !!!

First off I am disappointed with the Number of Nominations received...  That is, the number  of members who answered to the PM sent out some weeks back...  This is the lowest number yet... BUT I guess that it is down to the Hiatus that The Awards had while under review..

Usually I hold my nomination as a Deciding Vote & I was afraid that I would have to decise here for such fantastic folks..   I also have what I call Proxy Votes which I consult each time...

Just so that all will know On Yesterday Sunday 3rd August,  The TalkShop reached 4 years in service... This has been a milestone, where we have reached numbers of members of over 300 on 3 occasions...  The work that Everyone does has been vital to our survival & I thank All for work done in any part of this time...

Finally I thank God for His Grace to us.....

As many f you know the TalkShop is closing in fast on it's 4th Birthday!!! (WoW)...For a good share of that time we have been having Monthly Awards... Which I stopped for review a few months back...  The results of that are as follows...:

Every 3rd month we will have what was known as The Member of The Month Award BUT Now under a new Name!!!   This will have the same benefits & purposes etc..

Then every other Month we will have an award of Merit... Again for same Purposes....  All winners & Maybe Just Maybe  some of the top nominees over the year will go forward to our Member of the Year awards....

Hi Folks,

I am proud to announce that Staff changes have been discussed at Administrator level.... In line with that, We have decided upon two current Moderators to take up Co-Admin positions... They have acepted & before I name them, we have also decided upon two Moderator positions to be filled, that we felt would best suit all here on site &  passing through the site..... They are still considering their offer & their replies are pending & should be known soon....

But having said that please Welcome on Board the Admin level of the Site as Co-Admin's

As a part of a drive by us to encourage use & Participation on & in all areas of the site, we are asking all members (that is all registered members of the site) to visit all areas of the site... 

We are also asking that where ever possible that folks would take part & try to make the site worth joining... Especially for those who need the use of such areas...  Finally for those who put such a lot of time into all areas...

Most especially those within the voting areas.. The Semi's are Tuesday Evening (Tomorrow) Watch out for one class act... It is a spoof at how the eurovision by Childrens Puppet  "Dustin The Turkey" Who is representing Ireland... The spoof also shows how block voting & such insane acts etc has taken over the competition.....

I am ASKING FOLKS TO VOTE FOR DUSTIN... As here in Ireland we cannot vote for our own... I will personally return same for your countries... Just list your choice below... BUT Ya have to first Phone a Vote etc for Irelands Act "Dustin the Turkey".....
